Antiquorum’s spring auction in Geneva will sell a piece of space history in the form of a rare yellow gold and black perfect replica Omega Speedmaster “MIR” watches station.
The watch is one of the rarest top Swiss fake Omega Speedmaster Professional “Moonwatches” ever produced, and has the added appeal from having spent a year in space on the MIR station from July 1993 to July 1994.
There were 35 MIR Watches produced. They were taken to the Mir space station to determine the long-term effect of zero gravity on AAA UK Omega replica watches’ movement.
After one year in space, the high quality copy watches were returned to Omega and were all found to be functioning perfectly.
Only five of the 42mm best replica Omega Ref. BA145.0052.035A watches in 18ct yellow gold with leather bracelets were made, and an additional two with a gold bracelet.
The example on the block with Antiquorum on May 4 in Geneva is number five out of the seven gold pieces.
The fake Omega watches wholesale has been owned by its original purchaser back in 1995 and is said to have been worn only occasionally, leaving it unpolished and in near new condition.
Antiquorum has given the Omega super clone watches store site a pre-auction estimate of CHF 100,000 to 200,000.
The Planet Ocean series is a go-to choice if you want a cool alternative to the Rolex Submariner, and one you can actually pick up from an AD (remember that feeling?). This is perhaps the most important sports Omega replica watches for sale, and as such, you would surely think this is a bonafide diver’s tool, right? Considering the image of its burly 43.5mm size in classic steel and blue, or black with a tempting pop of orange, I understand the sentiment. But, like many popular ranges, the Planet Ocean series has morphed into a veritable sub-brand with a full 28 references. You could go diving with white gold and diamonds, or take this understated 39.5mm 1:1 UK fake Omega Planet Ocean 600M watches in stealthy black ceramic.
As I annoyingly remind everyone, a serious diving enthusiast will use a diving computer. Boring, I know. A 600m depth rating in mechanical best replica Omega watches is for everyday peace of mind. No, you’re no diver, and you might not even be much of an explorer, but the vibe is what gets to you. That feeling that the watch can almost protect you, a bulletproof buddy pushing you, inspiring your adventurous spirit. This vibe is perfectly encapsulated in a well-hidden and stealthy (well, that’s why it’s hidden, isn’t it?) ceramic version, the $10,200 ref. 215.92.40.20.01.001. Somehow blending a diver’s tough specs with a stealthy military vibe makes this stand out from the larger, more brash tools in the box.
Monochrome stealth in a rather perfect size
The Planet Ocean 600M series has the glacial progression of all great high quality Omega copy watches, just like the Speedmaster. And unlike crown-logoed dive watches in the same price range, there is a delightfully broad choice. A Planet Ocean in steel starts at a decent $6,200, traveling up through the well-known tiers of straps, bracelets, and metals, topping out at a solid $104,700. Mind you, that is a different world altogether, involving both white gold and a rainbow of precious stones. But my favorites are the size that tends to be forgotten, a rather perfect 39.5mm. I know, tool Swiss movements Omega replica watches are supposed to be big and all that, but think about it. How many times have you seen a 43-44mm watch dangling outside a shirt cuff that refuses to envelop it? Any piece from Omega makes for a great one-watch (let’s say “starter”) collection, and the versatility ratio increases exponentially under 40mm.
But surely, steel is the safest bet?
Well, yes and no. If I didn’t have a bunch of brushed steel wristwear already, I would go for the solid choice of steel and blue. But, the black ceramic version has gotten to me. My original plan was actually to write a story on the superb wearability of the steel version, emphasizing the upsides of downsizing. But even with a $4,000 price difference, this stealthy Omega fake watches wholesale shop has a lot going for it. Choosing any 39.5mm P.O. rather than the massive 43.5mm version makes it wrap so much better around my 17.5cm wrist. And while steel has that premium weightiness, which is all good, the ceramic case on a 19mm rubber strap is just sublime. And yes, it still houses the METAS-certified Master Chronometer caliber 8800, seen through the transparent case back.
A light embrace
The lightness on the wrist will only make you wear it more, and the scratch-resistance of a ceramic case makes it a darn good daily watch. The quiet, almost mission-secret look of this monochrome luxury replica Omega Planet Ocean watches gives the dial an even stronger presence. The surface itself is also ceramic, and white gold indices and arrow hands almost float in the darkness. White lume coupled with the bold P.O numerals on the bezel gives it legibility on par with a pilot’s watch, and therein lies another part of the charm. I know this is a diver’s watch, but there is something about the sleek design language that helps it cross over. Maybe that’s also why I feel it should be in the spotlight. I mean, who doesn’t want that feeling on their wrist, a sense of mission purpose like Bond or a Navy SEAL?
No color, but serious style
That pretty much sums it up for me, unfortunately. I might be able to save up for a starter Planet Ocean 600M at around $6,000, but this model just means a longer wait. But, as with most top Omega super clone watches, just like the ceramic MoonSwatch this past weekend, you will get one (eventually). This black beauty does not entail a waiting list that stretches out further than the red carpet at the Oscars, and that’s all good. Accessible (maybe not budget-wise) and bulletproof, this ceramic diver’s watch is a cool tool, and I want one.
Oh boy, not another 1:1 UK replica Omega Speedmaster watches combo. Although I hear you guys, and I even agree with you to a certain degree, this is not my fault. As a matter of fact, you chose the article topic, albeit unintentionally. One of the reasons I love high quality Omega Speedmaster fake watches is their versatility. You can wear one on a bracelet and pair it with a suit or with a shirt and flip-flops, and it will look equally fabulous. But, if you are up for a change, throw that metal band off and look for a strap alternative. Now, I’m not a Speedy-on-rubber type of guy. Wear it with a leather strap or a NATO, no problem, but rubber would just never be my choice. Vintage Swiss made Omega Speedmaster replica watches on a vintage Tropic strap is the “best” I can (and actually did) do, but that’s about it. When it comes to leather, however, the options are endless.
Leather, nylon, and the rest
My cheap fake Omega Speedmaster watches often serve as models for various straps in my Watch Strap Review articles. As such, you’ve probably seen them on an array of colors and types of leather over the years. Furthermore, from time to time, when I get a NATO strap for a review, the Speedy is often the best Omega copy watches I pick to showcase the look. However, the strap or combo I’m featuring today has nothing to do with leather or NATO straps. It might not even be my favorite strap. Undoubtedly though, this strap-and-Speedy combination works. What we have here is a Ripstop strap by G.L.C. I first reviewed this strap a good a few years ago, but at the time, it didn’t make a huge splash. The strap was a terrific alternative to suede, crocodile, or vintage leather straps, but perhaps the Ripstop did not become my favorite due to its color or material.
I often swap the straps on my luxury replica Omega watches. I want to try different colors on different timepieces. On the one hand, it’s cool to see how a tone works with a specific case material. Also, a particular strap style can make or break the visuals of a watch. What I do is take out my Omega super clone watches for sale and a few dozen straps and start pairing them up. During one of these sessions, I threw the Ripstop on the Speedy. Due to the material, Ripstop straps are flexible and comfortable but not the thinnest. After a few days, I realized that it’s not only super comfy on the Speedy, but looks pretty bad*ss too. So, the combo remained and became an instant sensation on my Instagram profile. Every time I posted the Speedy with the camouflage Ripstop, I was flooded with DMs asking about the maker or a link to their webshop.
Ripstop
But what is Ripstop after all, and why is it such a big deal? Well, as its name suggests, it is a material that resists ripping and tearing. The project to develop a fabric for military purposes started during the Second World War. The U.S. Army needed a sturdy material for its uniforms, while the Air Force searched for a new fabric to replace silk parachutes. DuPont delivered the solution in the form of a sturdy synthetic thread called nylon. In Ripstop material, nylon threads are placed in the weave of the fabric at specific increments. This interlocking crosshatch strengthens the material and stops it from tearing after the first square. G.L.C. uses the jackets and trousers of Vietnam War-era uniforms to get this excellent camouflage vintage material.
Camouflage
Right, camouflage. Perhaps the match-up does not only work because of the Ripstop. Maybe it’s the military feel of camouflage that skyrocketed this pairing on my Instagram feed. I’d love to think that it’s everything combined. The vintage style, the side-stitching, the Ripstop, and the camouflage pattern all matched with the Speedy spoke to many of you. I can’t blame you for that; it’s a sweet look. I usually don’t like heavy patterns or colors on a strap. Camo, however, just seems to work when added in small doses. For example, camouflage pants are a no-no for me. But a camo pattern on socks? I can live with that. Whatever the reason is, the G.L.C. Ripstop strap on my vintage Speedy is a hit and a perfect summer look.
Want it? Get it!
I’m not sure if there are any other companies making similar straps. If there aren’t yet, after this article, they might consider it. The good news is that G.L.C. offers a large variety of Ripstop straps. If you are not into side stitching, you can get it in another design. G.L.C. even provides Ripstop NATO straps, though that type would not be my personal choice. I also think that Ripstop camo straps might not be the perfect fit for your vintage 1950s chronographs. Those have slimmer cases and much more elegant profiles. But choose any chronograph or perhaps military Omega fake watches for men from the late ’60s onwards, and you are good to go.
